ATOSS Software AG: Strong growth in software licensing revenues leads to
outstanding increase in results - Forecast hiked for a 2nd time for the
full year 2007
Munich, October 10, 2007 – provisional figures for the third quarter and
the first nine months of financial year 2007 point to strong growth in the
software licensing business. Over all sales in the first nine months of
2007 rose substantially by 11 percent to stand at EUR 17.8 million(previous
year: EUR 15.9 million). In Q3 alone, sales rose by 10 percent to reach EUR
6.1 million, compared with EUR 5.5 million in the year before.
The continuing strong growth in software licensing is particularly
pleasing: Sales in this business area in the first nine months of the
financial year amounted to EUR 4.0 million, up 19 percent over the year
before (EUR 3.4 million). The figure of EUR 1.5 million recorded in Q3 was
likewise up 19 percent on the previous year (EUR 1.2 million).
In addition, orders on hand for software licenses in the first nine months
of the financial year rose by 8 percent from EUR 1.3 million to EUR 1.4
million.
Against the background of this strong development in sales, in both the
first nine months and the third quarter of financial year 2007 the company
recorded a substantial improvement in operating profits (EBIT), and is
again raising its forecast for the year as a whole. The operating result
(EBIT) for the first nine months of 2007 rose by 33 percent to EUR 2.8
million (previous year EUR 2.1 million inclusive of extraordinary earnings
amounting to EUR 0.4 million). In Q3 the increase amounted to 13 percent,
taking EBIT to EUR 0.9 million (previous year EUR 0.8 million).
The company now expects operating profits (EBIT) in financial year 2007 to
reach at least EUR 3.4 million (previous year: EUR 2.8 million, inc.
extraordinary income of EUR 0.4 million).
