Record sales and result in 2007
Munich, January 16, 2008 – In the 2007 financial year ATOSS Software AG
generated record sales and results. According to preliminary figures, sales
rose by 11 % to EUR 24.4 million (prior year: EUR 22.0 million), thereby
reaching the highest level in the history of the company.
The very satisfactory results in sales were mainly driven by the gratifying
strong business developments in the software licenses area. Sales of
software licenses increased by 17% to EUR 5.4 million (previous year: EUR
4.6 million), while the intake of orders in software licenses rose to EUR
6.1 million (prior year: EUR 5.4 million). Orders at hand in software
licenses were up as per December 31, 2007 to EUR 1.9 million (previous
year: EUR 1.3 million). Software maintenance revenues for the same period
were up by 11% to EUR 9.2 million (prior year: EUR 8.3 million) and
services revenues increased markedly by a full 12%, reaching EUR 6.2
million (prior year: EUR 5.6 million).
In the fourth quarter of 2007 the company continued to record very good
sales developments, especially with regard to incoming software licenses
orders, where a marked improvement was recorded once again. In the fourth
quarter of 2007, total quarterly sales rose by 10% to EUR 6.7 million
(previous year: EUR 6.1 million). Sales of software licenses in the fourth
quarter were up by 13% to EUR 1.4 million (previous year: EUR 1.3 million)
and incoming orders for software licenses in particular increased by 87% to
EUR 2.0 million (previous year: EUR 1.1 million).
On the basis of this highly positive development of overall revenues, the
company anticipates to attain an EBIT margin of around 15% and to
significantly exceed its EBIT forecast of EUR 3.4 million.
Especially the strong order intake and the resulting solid level of orders
at hand in the software licenses area underlines the stability of the
company’s sustained growth course that has been recorded since the end of
2005. With a look to the ongoing year, the company expects a continuation
of the profitable growth course.
ATOSS Software AG will announce more details on the 2007 business year on
January 31, 2008.
