The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Secunet AG: Balanced annual result 2003 not achievable In the 4th quarter 2003 EBIT of secunet Security Networks AG will fall below the previous planning of the management. The reason for this development is the fact that, contrary to expectations, some major projects could not be realized in the course of the year 2003. A slightly positive EBIT is expected for the 4th quarter 2003 and so the target of a balanced annual result 2003 is no longer achievable. During the first nine months of the business year (1 January to 30 September 2003) an EBIT of minus EUR 1.4 million accumulated. For the entire year 2003 management now expects an EBIT amounting to minus EUR 1.3 million.
