April 2000 Ad-hoc Mitteilung nach § 15 WpHG SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG steigert Überschuß im I. Quartal 2000 um 140 % Im ersten Quartal 2000 hat SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES wieder deutlich an Wachstum zugelegt. Mit Umsatzerlösen in Höhe von 107 Mio. DM wurde das erste Quartal des Vorjahres um 78,3 % übertroffen. Infolge einer weiteren Verbesserung der Deckungsbeiträge konnte der Gewinn im Verhältnis zum Umsatz überproportional gesteigert werden. So hat sich der Quartalsüberschuß im Vorjahresvergleich mehr als verdoppelt und betrug in den ersten drei Monaten dieses Jahres 14,4 Mio. DM (31.03.1999 = 6 Mio. DM). Mit Auftragseingängen in Höhe von 201,1 Mio. DM im ersten Quartal 2000 hat sich der Auftragsbestand zum 31. März 2000 auf 489,4 Mio. DM erhöht (31.03.1999 = 64,7 Mio. DM). ADHOC Announcement in Accordance with Par. 15 WpHG SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG First Quarter Profits in 2000 Increase by 140% SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES has experienced renewed growth during the first quarter of 2000. Revenues of 107 million DM surpassed the prior year’s first quarter results by 78.3%. As a result of continued improvement in contributions, the increase in earnings was disproportionate to revenues. Quarterly earnings totaled 14.4 million DM for the first three months of this year, more than double the previous year’s figures (3/31/99 = 6 million DM). Orders received in the first quarter of 2000 totaled 201.1 million DM, raising the order backlog to 489.4 million DM by March 31, 2000 (3/31/99 = 64.7 million DM).
