SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Reports Preliminary Key Figures for the 1st Half of
2015
Kahl am Main, July 30, 2015 -The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS
TECHNOLOGIES) reports sales in the amount of EUR 29.2 million for the 1st
half of 2015 (previous year: EUR 30.1 million). The earnings before
interest and taxes (EBIT) improved slightly in the 1st half of 2015
compared with the respective reporting period one year ago and stood at EUR
-9.8 million (previous year: EUR -12.5 million). The order intake of EUR
73.1 million in the 1st half 2015 is significantly higher than the
prior-year level of EUR 25.2 million. The order backlog as of June 30, 2015
stood at EUR 57.9 million, accordingly.
The achievement of the financial goals for the full-year 2015 will largely
depend on the volume sales in the Solar and Optical Disc divisions in the
next couple of weeks. In particular, the outcome of talks with large disc
manufacturers regarding investments in new Blu-ray Disc production machines
will impact the development of the key financial results for the current
year.
