Hildenborough, Großbritannien we hereby notify you pursuant to section 21
(1) WpHG of the following:
On 22 August 2008 FIL Investment Management Limited fell below the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG,
Sonnenallee 1, 34266 Niestetal, Germany. On that date, FIL Investment
Management Limited held 2.93% of the voting rights in SMA Solar
Technology AG arising from 1,015,148 voting rights.
All voting rights in SMA Solar Technology AG were attributed to FIL
Investment Management Limited pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no.6 in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG.'
