Softing: New order from the world's largest pump manufacturer

The Industrial Automation division of Softing AG will deploy its new FPGA-based module in GRUNDFOS' communication devices supporting the existing portfolio of advanced pump solutions. An annual production of more than 16 million pumps makes GRUNDFOS the world's largest pump manufacturer.

'We are proud to support GRUNDFOS with these modern and highly flexible communication modules. Following the recent successes of our Automotive Electronics division I am particularly delighted how this deal clearly shows the growth potential of our Industrial Communications division ', says CEO und Softing shareholder Dr. Wolfgang Trier.

For Softing this framework agreement running over a period of several years will result in direct additional sales in the 7-digit Euro range. On top of that the resulting proof of competence will have significant positive effects on other potential key customers. The main volume of the combined hardware and software products will be effective from 2013 on. The additional sales volume of this deal will be another strong support element of Softing's growth strategy.
