Dr Weber will take over as Chief Financial Officer from Bernd Szymanski, who has held that position on an interim basis to date. Dr Thomas Weber (37 years old) held leading positions in finance at companies operating internationally including appointments in the controlling and IT sectors of ITT Automotive Europe in Frankfurt with overseas experience in North America, Europe and the Far East. Prior to this appointment, Dr Weber was Executive Management Board member responsible for Finance in the national company of Metro, Cash-and-Carry Division, in Turkey. Dr Weber will assume responsibility at Splendid Medien AG for the sectors Finance, operative management of affiliates and Investor Relations.
