Splendid Film: New TV License Agreement Concluded with CLT-UFA for the Netherlands and Belgium (Cologne – 18.04.2011) – Splendid Film GmbH, Cologne, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Splendid Medien AG, Cologne, has concluded another agreement with CLT-UFA S.A., Luxemburg, on the TV licensing of feature films in the Benelux countries. The 18 titles licensed for several years include last year’s new acquisitions ‘Bunraku’ with Josh Hartnett, Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson, the somewhat different Christmas film ‘Rare Exports’ and the vampire action sequel ‘Bloodrayne III’. Other films in the agreed package are the dramatic thriller ‘Inhale’ with Diane Kruger and Dermot Mulroney, and the spectacular video game adaptation ‘Tekken’. The agreement with CLT-UFA continues the collaboration between the two media companies in the Benelux countries, which also gave rise to last year’s license agreement for a package of 17 feature films for television broadcast in the Netherlands. ‘We are delighted to continue the successful collaboration with CLT-UFA in the Benelux countries’, says Andreas R.
