polyband and Terra Mater to cooperate in Benelux as well

(Munich/Vienna – 14.01.2014) – Terra Mater Factual Studios and Polyband Medien GmbH (polyband), a subsidiary of Splendid Medien AG, have agreed a multiannual partnership for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

In the future, polyband will exclusively distribute selected Terra Mater titles in the Benelux countries as well. The first projects include nature and wildlife documentaries such as ‘Wild Brazil’ and ‘The Nile – The Ultimate River’. The team led by Andrew Ernster, who in the past five years has successfully developed the Benelux business of the Splendid Group, will handle the local sales organisation.

Swetlana Winkel, Managing Director of polyband, said: ‘Terra Mater has become an important and valued partner to us. I am delighted to expand our successful cooperation beyond Germany and into the Benelux nations.’

Andrew Ernster, Head of Sales for Benelux, added: ‘We have continued to expand our product portfolio in Benelux in recent years. Now our customers can enjoy high quality programming from Terra Mater as well.’

Walter Köhler, CEO of Terra Mater Factual Studios, stated: ‘By expanding the territorial availability we hope that customers in Benelux will come to enjoy the exclusively selected productions from TMFS, and that they will experience them as entertaining and informative alike.’
