The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. —————————————————————————— STADA: Nizhpharm acquisition successfully concluded STADA Arzneimittel AG has successfully acquired 97.47 % of the shares of the Russian pharmaceutical company Nizhpharm OJSC, Nizhny Novgorod, after the Russian anti-trust authorities approved the transaction and all contractual agreements had been implemented (see ad hoc release dated November 8, 2004 concerning the conclusion of the provisional agreement, published by DGAP, as well as ad hoc release dated December 22, 2004 concerning the conclusion of final agreements, published by DGAP). Nizhpharm will be included in the scope of consolidation of the STADA Group as of January 1, 2005.
