The Group has purchased a 75 % holding in ARBE S.R.L. based in Martellago near Venice. ARBE has been a long-term sales partner of Bausch GmbH (edging strips and surface foils based on paper) and Döllken-Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH based in Gladbeck (plastic edges and other extruded products) – two companies in the SURTECO Group. ARBE S.R.L. generated sales of 13 million euros in 2002. The previous shareholder Sergio Bellato will continue to manage the company as Managing Director.
