Following the Annual General Meeting on 17 June 2004, he will step down from the Board of Management and move to the Supervisory Board. Bernd Dehmel worked for Robert Linnemann GmbH + Co., a company in the SURTECO Group, from 1969 until 2000. His last position was as Chairman of the Executive Management. After Bernd Dehmel leaves the Board of Management of SURTECO AG there will temporarily be two members rather than three. Dr Herbert Müller will continue to be responsible for the Strategic Business Unit Plastics. Friedhelm Päfgen, Chairman of the Board of Management, will take over responsibility for the Strategic Business Unit Paper in addition to his current areas of responsibility.
