The sender is responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Süss MicroTec takes over K&W GmbH Munich. 17th October 2000 – Süss MicroTec AG has taken over K&W GmbH, a semiconductor equipment supplier in Oberschleißheim near München. Through the takeover, Süss has greatly increased its production capacity for fotolithography machines (Mask Aligners) and substrate test systems (Probers) and goes hand-in-hand with the rapidly growing demand for these products. Within the Süss group, the experienced team from K&W will strengthen the service capacity and will help drive further growth. The purchase was completed with a transfer of Süss shares from authorized capital stock. K&W was founded in 1993 by the former Süss employees Andreas Kary and Anton Wolejnik and is expected to record a turnover of around DM 6 Mio. this year.
