Net Sales amounted about EUR 31 million and therefore outperformed the previous quarter (EUR 26.6 million) by approx. 16% and the prior year’s quarter (EUR 21.4 million) by approx. 45%. Also the Order Entry figure again exceeded EUR 30 million. In the 3rd quarter, new Orders totaling approx. EUR 32 million were booked, a 22% increase compared with the related quarter of the previous year (EUR 26.1 million). With the achieved Order Entry and Sales numbers in the third quarter, the operating business remains consistent with the full-year guidance of revenues between EUR 115 million and EUR 120 million. The final results for the third quarter will be published November 9 2004, after stock market closed. As already announced, the Group Break-Even based on EBIT should be reduced from currently EUR 120 million Sales to about EUR 100 million Sales. In this regard the Board intends to shutdown the Asslar facility near Frankfurt/Main and the integration of the production into the facility at Garching/Munich. Negotiations with the works council will start immediately. In total annual cost savings of EUR 4 million are expected to derive from this measure, with EUR 2.5 million being related to saved personnel expenses.
