SUSS MicroTec once again qualifies as “Preferred Supplier” for NANIUM

Garching, April 23, 2014 – SUSS MicroTec, a leading supplier of equipment and process solutions for the semiconductor and related markets, has once again been awarded the “Preferred Supplier” status at NANIUM S.A., Portugal. For more than 17 years, NANIUM has provided advanced assembly and test services to a global customer base of semiconductor companies serving the consumer, communication, automotive, medical and computer industries. NANIUM is one of SUSS MicroTec’s major customers in Europe.

To qualify for the status as a “Preferred Supplier”, a company has to fulfill or exceed NANIUMs high requirements. The evaluated categories are purchasing, quality, logistics, technology and the management profile. Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the employees in Sternenfels and Garching, it was once again possible to retain the “Preferred Supplier” status.
