SUSS MicroTec AG: 2014 Shareholders’ Meeting in Munich

Garching, Germany, June 17, 2014 – SUSS MicroTec AG, a global supplier of equipment and process solutions for the semiconductor industry and related markets, held its ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting at the “Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft” on June 17, 2014. In total, approximately 60 shareholders, shareholder and bank representatives and guests joined the company at the meeting in Munich. Thus, 25.03 percent of the company’s equity capital was represented.

In addition to the resolution regarding discharging the Management Board and Supervisory Board from liability for the 2013 fiscal year, a resolution regarding the approval of an amendment to the profit and loss transfer agreement between SUSS MicroTec AG and SUSS MicroTech Lithography GmbH as well as the approval of an amendment to the profit and loss transfer agreement between SUSS MicroTec AG and SUSS MicroTec REMAN GmbH was passed. The shareholders of SUSS MicroTec AG voted in favor of all resolution proposals put forward by the Management Board and Supervisory Board at this year’s ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting.

In his statement of accounts, Chief Executive Officer Frank P. Averdung detailed the main developments and results of the past fiscal year and the first quarter of 2014 and once again confirmed the guidance for the full fiscal year 2014. His report highlighted the global focus of the Company and its innovation drive in technology.
