SUSS MicroTec Publishes Preliminary Q3 Results and Reiterates the Full Year Guidance for 2014

Garching, Oktober 13, 2014 – SUSS MicroTec, a global supplier of equipment and process solutions for the semiconductor industry and related markets, publishes its preliminary figures for the third quarter 2014 today.

The Company generated sales of EUR 25.5 million (previous year: EUR 38.9 million) in the third quarter 2014 and booked an order entry of EUR 29.0 million (previous year: EUR 34.3 million). The order backlog amounted to EUR 82.2 million (09/30/2013: EUR 97.6 million). Sales for the first three quarters came in at EUR 94.9 million (previous year: EUR 94.0 million) while order entry reached a level of EUR 90.3 million (previous year: EUR 105.9 million).

The management board of SUSS MicroTec reiterates the guidance for the fiscal year 2014 and expects sales to be in the bandwidth of 135 – 145 EUR million, thereby generating a slightly positive EBIT.

The Company also confirms the order entry expectation for the fourth quarter 2014. Orders in the 30 to 40 EUR million range are anticipated.

The final key figures for the first three quarters 2014 – which may deviate from those given above – will be published on November 6, 2014.
