Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— technotrans hebt nach glänzendem Start Planungen für 2000 an erstes Quartal mit starkem Umsatz- und Ertragswachstum / auch Ryco bringt Ergebnisschub / CD/DVD mit Umsatzverdoppelung und Gewinnverfünffachung / Prognose für 2000 deutlich angehoben technotrans, führender Systemanbieter von Anlagen für die Herstellung von Print- und optischen Speicher-Medien, steigerte während der ersten drei Monate des neuen Geschäftsjahres den Umsatz nicht, wie geplant, um 10 Prozent, sondern um 26 Prozent auf 22,4 Millionen Euro und das Segmentergebnis stieg um 21,2 Prozent auf 3,1 Millionen Euro. Der Periodenüberschuss erreichte nicht nur, wie geplant, die Höhe des Vorjehresquartals, sondern stieg um knapp 19 Prozent auf 1,529 Millionen Euro. Dies entspricht einem Ergebnis je Aktie von 0,76 Euro (VJ: 0,64 Euro). Alle Segmente haben dazu beigetragen. Der Vorstand erhöht daher seine Planungen für das Geschäftsjahr 2000. Demnach sollte technotrans in diesem Jahr erstmals die Grenze von 100 Millionen Euro beim Umsatz erreichen, dies würde einer Steigerung um 36 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahr entsprechen. Trotz der Kosten für die jüngste Akquisition und der erhöhten Aufwendungen auf Grund der Branchenmesse DRUPA soll der Jahresüberschuss gegenüber dem Vorjahr um rund 25 Prozent auf 5,0 bis 5,3 Millionen Euro steigen. Neben dem erfreulichen Start in das Geschäftsjahr ist diese Anhebung begründet durch die jüngste Akquisition des amerikanischen Unternehmens Ryco und das starke Wachstum im Segment CD/DVD, welches im ersten Quartal ein Umsatzwachstum um 90 Prozent auf 2 Millionen Euro und einen Ergebnissprung um über 400 Prozent auf 651.000 Euro vorweisen konnte. The net profit for the period did not merely emulate the figure for the prior-year quarter; it actually rose by 19 percent to EUR 1.529 million.
