informed us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG that its share of the
voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, ISIN
DE0007500001, exceeded the 3% threshold on March 13, 2012. At this date the
share of the voting rights amounts to 3.9403% (which equates to 20,272,873
voting rights). All of the voting rights are attributable to BlackRock
Advisors Holdings, Inc. in accordance with Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 1 No. 6
