1. On May 4, 2012, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, DE, USA, informed
us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG that its share of the voting
rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, ISIN DE0007500001,
has fallen below the 5% threshold on April 30, 2012. At this date the share
of the voting rights amounts to 4.87% (which equates to 25,076,312 voting
rights). All of the voting rights are attributable to BlackRock Holdco 2,
Inc. in accordance with Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with
Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.
2. On May 4, 2012, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, NY, USA,
informed us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG that its share of the
voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, ISIN
DE0007500001, has fallen below the 5% threshold on April 30, 2012. At this
date the share of the voting rights amounts to 4.87% (which equates to
25,076,312 voting rights). All of the voting rights are attributable to
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. in accordance with Art. 22 par. 1
sentence 1 No. 6 in connection with Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.
