Significant cost-cutting measures and the focus on core business resulted in an EBIT increase to EUR 0.1 million (Q3 prior year: EUR -0.9 million). The Board of Management expects a consolidation of online travel portals in future and is anticipating promising mergers for Travel24.com AG. While earnings in the current financial year are also being positively influenced by restructuring gains, the Board of Management expects to be able to generate a profit in the next financial year through the expansion of its sales and business activities.
