Munich, 16 May 2008 - A meeting of the creditors of the 2005/2008
zero-coupon convertible bond issued by Travel24.com AG was held today in
Munich. As previously published in the electronic Federal Bulletin, a vote
was held on the prolongation of the term of the convertibles becoming due
this year until 14. July 2010. Approval was given with the required
majority. At the same time, the company was able to reach an agreement with
all other holders of convertible bonds currently issued whose claims total
ca. EUR 3.5m on an interest-free extension until 20. July 2010.
This enables the company to pursue its increasingly positive development
without repayment requirements over the next two years. The tour operator
subsidiary Direkt-Touristik AG was able to record gross sales per booking
date during the first quarter in excess of sales recorded for the whole
year 2007. Management anticipates a continuation in Direkt-Touristik AG’s
growth throughout the coming quarters and that the Travel24.com AG group
will shortly reach sustained profitability as a result.
