The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– TTL AGs sales modestly up in the 2001 business year TTL Information Technology AG, Munich, a provider of integrated IT services (Neuer Market SIN 750 100) achieved moderate growth in the 2001 business year. Consolidated sales were increased in 2001 to DM 110.3m, compared to the preceding years figure of DM 108.7m. This means sales growth of 1.5 % over the previous year. The separate financial statements of TTL AG show sales of DM 83.7m (previous year: DM 70.9m), which is even 17.9 % up on the equivalent figure for the previous reporting period. 1st DATA Solution Vertriebs-GmbH fell substantially short of its sales and earnings targets, with sales of DM 22.2m and a pre-tax loss of DM 5.7m. As already announced on 30 June 2001, extensive restructuring measures have been initiated here, so that break-even can be anticipated for the 2002 business year. Goodwill write-down for the subsidiaries entailed an outlay of DM 11.2m as per 31 December 2001. The figure includes an extraordinary write-down on the goodwill of 1st DATA Solution Vertriebs-GmbH, amounting to DM 6.5m. The company has also formed a further provision into the special fund, where the funds from the last cash capital increase have been invested. This provision amounted to DM 4.7m on the cutoff date of 31 December 2001. The company had already published these facts in its quarterly report dated 30 September 2001. Consolidated sales are below budget by DM 39m (27 %). The operating result (EBITA), at DM 0.3m on 31 December 2001, compared with the preceding years figure of DM 7m, is DM 6.9m down on budget. Profits after taxes in the group were minus DM 17.8m, due to the factors mentioned above. For 2002 as a whole, sales of Euro 61.2m and EBITA of Euro 3.1m are anticipated.
