strategic partnership in the area of content and marketing / Turnover is

with high quality content channels to an information and communication portal /
Set-up of one of the leading portals in Europe
Montabaur/Munich, February 8th, 2001. TOMORROW Internet AG, a leading Internet
media company, enters into a long-term cooperation with Germany’s leading e-mail
service GMX.de (8.2 mln. accounts; 468 mln. page impressions in January 2001
(IVW), United Internet AG stake: 70,1%). The agreement includes the editorial
providing of the e-mail service with up to nine comprehensive topic channels
from TOMORROW Internet AG. GMX.de is to be expanded to become an allround
information and entertainment portal by upgrading its services in terms of
quality with editorial online contents from AMICA, BELLEVUE, CINEMA, FITFORFUN,
MAX, NET-BUSINESS, TOMORROW and TV SPIELFILM. Moreover TOMORROW
Internet AG will be taking on the marketing of large sections for the new
services starting May 1st, 2001.
By working closely together, both partners are expecting to increase their
online-advertising revenues in a two-digit million way. The editorial expansion
and customer services will lead to a massive increase in hits, not only for the
online offers of TOMORROW Internet AG, but also for GMX.de.
This cooperation is reflecting the trend towards alliances in the German market
regarding portal business and marketing. GMX is specialist in the confidential
communication of personal data. New applications for personal information
management as well as office applications will be offered soon. The contents of
TOMORROW Internet AG will be integrated indistinguishably in the GMX user
interface. The focus of interest is to build up a huge Internet traffic
junction, which binds users by processing and providing with personalized
information independent from a local network lastingly. Furthermore, a unique
platform for various online-advertising and e-commerce activities will be opened
up by the high quality content environment.
