April 2000 – Basler Vision Technologies, führender Hersteller künstlicher Seh-Systeme, wird die neuen DVD-Produktionsstätten von Matsushita Media Manufacturing – ein Joint Venture von Panasonic Disc Services Corp. und Eastman Kodak – in Youghal (Irland) und Guadalajara (Mexiko) mit Inspektionssystemen ausstatten. Damit erhöht sich der Anteil von DVD Inspektionssystemen im Auftragseingang des Basler Geschäftsbereiches Optical Media Inspection auf ca. 66%. This will increase the share of DVD inspection systems in incoming orders of the Optical Media Inspection business unit of Basler to approx. 66 per cent.
