– Swiss competitor joins the M+M group
– Deal doubles M+M’s market volume in Switzerland
Wessling, February 21, 2001 – Neuer Markt-listed Mensch und Maschine Software AG
(M+M) continues to expand its market position as a leading European supplier of
CAD solutions. The Zurich-based M+M subsidiary will be merged with former
competitor CAD Distribution AG, Basle/Lausanne, with immediate effect. This deal
is expected to double M+M’s market volume in Switzerland (currently DM 12
million) in 2001.
The merger will be effected by way of a share swap between the M+M group and CAD
Distribution AG’s founder and sole owner, Peter Bachmann, who will head
the merged operations in Switzerland going forward. Mr Bachmann will own approx.
4% of M+M’s shares following the swap.
