VIB Vermögen AG: Capital increase successfully placed

Neuburg a. d. Donau, 24th July 2006 – The VIB Vermögen AG has successfully
placed its capital increase. A total of 2,396,000 new bearer shares with a
notional par value of 1.00 EUR were issued. As such, the authorised capital
of the VIB Vermögen AG has increased from 9,792,000 EUR to 12,188,000 EUR.
At an issue price of 7.20 EUR per share, the company has accrued pre-cost
proceeds from the issue of around 17.2 million EUR. The predominant part of
the capital increase was placed within the scope of the subscription and a
scaling down to existing shareholders. The capital increase was heavily
oversubscribed.
‘We are very pleased that there has been such a positive response to our
business model’, said CEO Ludwig Schlosser, who went on to explain that the
additional equity would be used to aquire further attractive commercial
real estate in Southern Germany. Taking the 60 – 70% share of loan capital
into account, the VIB Vermögen AG now has over 50 million EUR available for
new investments. After the capital increase has been registered in the
commercial register and the new shares have been booked at the Clearstream
Banking AG, the new shares are expected to be included for trading on the
Open Market (M:access) of the Munich stock exchange under the securities
identification code VIHJ (WKN A0H52R, ISIN DE000A0H52R0) at the end of July
2006. Because of dividend entitlements from 1st January 2007, the new
shares will trade under the securities identification code referred to
above until the end of the Annual General Meeting, at which a resolution on
the Annual Statement of Accounts 2006 will be passed. Subsequently, all the
shares will again be listed under the securities identification code VIH
(WKN 245751, ISIN DE0002457512).
