VIB Vermögen AG: Interim semi-annual figures

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Neuburg / Donau, 1st August, 2006 – Interim results show that the VIB Vermögen has grown considerably in the first six months of 2006 compared to the same period in the previous year. The company’s net revenues, which consist mainly of rental revenue and pre-payments for ancillary costs, rose from EUR 3.71 million to EUR 5.83 million. This increase of 57.2% has resulted primarily from the new investments made last year. At the same time, the VIB Vermögen AG generated earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) in the first six months of 2006 to the amount of EUR 2.99 million (period of the preceding year: EUR 1.81 million). Thus, the EBIT margin amounts to 51.4%. Moreover, earnings before taxes (EBT) increased by around 80% as against the comparison period and rose from EUR 0.86 million to EUR 1.55 million. This corresponds to an EBT margin of 26.5%. The cash flow also climbed by 61.2% from EUR 1.48 million to EUR 2.39 million in the last six months. It is to be taken into consideration in the results reported that they do not contain the figures for the BBI AG, which was taken over in May 2006. ‘We are very pleased with the development in the first six months,’ said CEO Ludwig Schlosser and added: ‘The recent capital increase will contribute to making continued dynamic growth possible in future, too.’ The company is adhering to the forecasts for the year as a whole. These include net revenues of more than EUR 11 million, an EBIT of around EUR 6 million, earnings before taxes of about EUR 3 million and an increase in cash flow to approximately EUR 4.5 million. The final semi-annual figures will be published on 31st August 2006 within the scope of the semi-annual report.
