DATAGROUP Takes Over Operation of SAP System Landscape for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen

Pliezhausen, November 26, 2025 – DATAGROUP has been awarded the contract to operate the SAP system landscape of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) as part of a tender process. The project includes the migration and long-term operation of the SAP systems in the DATAGROUP Enterprise Cloud in Frankfurt am Main. The contract has a term of five years and a volume in the mid-single-digit million range. DATAGROUP supports Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in operating and further developing its business-critical SAP systems. HEIDELBERG is a leading technology company that has stood for innovation, quality, and reliability in mechanical engineering worldwide 175 years. As part of the project, all SAP systems and components of HEIDELBERG were transferred to the highly secure DATAGROUP data center in Frankfurt am Main and rebuilt on modern, scalable cloud architecture. The migration included moving existing Oracle databases to the high-performance SAP ASE platform. The goal was to create an efficient, cost-saving, and future-proof SAP system landscape that enables a transition to SAP S/4HANA. Partnership for Modern SAP Operations The transition was completed during ongoing operations within nine months.
