Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG is now also offering investors the
world's largest trading system for contracts for difference (CFDs) on the
Metatrader trading platform. Investors can trade over 500 share, index and
commodity CFDs worldwide with zero delay, benefiting from both rising and

Hamburg - 20th October 2010 - Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG is
launching the world's largest online trading for contracts for difference
(CFDs) through the Metatrader platform. As of now, Varengold investors have
access to over 500 global CFD products with share, index and commodity
underlyings. 'Having introduced CFDs ten years ago, we are now
significantly facilitating access for retail investors' says Yasin
Sebastian Qureshi from the Management Board of Varengold
Wertpapierhandelsbank AG. 'Our online trading platform also allows
investors to trade in all major shares in international companies and in
global share indexes.'
CFDs for flexible and effective hedging
CFDs - contracts for difference - allow investors to profit from price
fluctuations in the underlying assets. They are a flexible and effective
hedging option with good potential yield. Investors can benefit from both
rising and falling prices, and need only provide a fraction of the actual
purchase price: instead of paying the purchase price in full, the investor
provides a security payment, the so-called margin. This creates leverage
and means that the trader has a 100 percent investment in the market but
actually ties up just a small proportion of this sum. 'Investors can take
part in global CFD trading on the Varengold trading platform even with
small sums', explains Qureshi. 'They can put together their own individual
multi-asset portfolio of forex, commodities and CFDs - with just one
