- Active interest of customer deposits in the future
Hamburg, 09th Juli 2013 - As already advised in the Corporate News on
24.06.2013, Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG (WKN 547930) obtained the
commercial banking license by the German Federal Financial Supervisory
Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht). Already at the
Annual General Meeting held on 08th of August 2012, a corresponding
amendment of the Articles of Association regarding the change of the
company name to Varengold Bank AG was approved by the shareholders. The
change of the name has now been entered in the Commercial Register under
number HRB 73684. The trading symbol on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will
remain unchanged. As part of the renaming, the website of the company is
currently being reorganized and adjusted.
The first visible effect of the licensing is also the future granting of
credit interest on the deposit of the active trading account kept by the
customer.
