Baader Bank AG in Unterschleissheim continues to expand its network of
trading memberships. As part of the expansion, Germany’s leading specialist
in securities trading has, with immediate effect, become a trading
participant on Chi-X Europe Limited, an off-exchange platform based in
London.
'This connection has enabled us to expand the spectrum of trading centres
available to both our own securities traders as well as to our customers',
commented Uto Baader, Chairman of the Board of Directors. For customers,
the new trading platform can be used via the existing communication
channels with Baader Bank AG and does not require a technical upgrade.
Furthermore, users of the Baader Bank AG Best Execution solution now have
the possibility of integrating Chi-X into their own order routing strategy,
enabling them to benefit from potential advantages arising from share
prices.
Since 16 April 2007, Chi-X has been operated as a Multilateral Trading
Facility (MTF) and is a subsidiary of Instinet Europe Limited.
