Baader Bank AG: Clueda and Baader Bank receive Computerwoche’s “Best in Big Data” award

In Frankfurt yesterday Clueda AG and Baader Bank received the “Best Big Data Project” award for 2013 from the specialist computer magazine “Computerwoche”. Their project was awarded first place by a star-studded panel of judges at Computerwoche’s “Best in Big Data 2013 Conference”.

“We are very pleased to have received this award from Computerwoche as it shows that we are on the right track with our ‘Real-Time News Analytics’ project designed to introduce big data solutions into securities trading and analysis”, said Uto Baader, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baader Bank and a member of the Supervisory Board of Clueda AG.

“We couldn’t be happier to have achieved this success. Our team worked extremely hard to make it happen. The award highlights the extent to which the significance of semantic knowledge analysis for finance companies has been growing”, said Dr Volker Stümpflen, CEO of Clueda AG”.

The ‘News Analytics’ project is based on the ‘clueda.trader’, ‘clueda.report’ and ‘clueda.research’ products. The project was developed jointly by Clueda AG and Baader Bank – the customer. ‘clueda.trader’ will be used in future at Baader Bank’s trading desks. The bank’s partnership with Clueda has enabled it to establish an extensive and electronically-available pool of knowledge (“Big Data”), making extremely rapid and informed decisions possible.
