Baader Investment Conference - companies mainly confident - 2014 conference
dates announced
At the second Baader Investment Conference, which ended yesterday in
Munich, the predominant feeling amongst the 120 or so participating
companies from Germany and Austria was one of optimism for the future.
Many companies have manoeuvred themselves into an excellent position to
continue to take advantage of global demand trends, leading most of them to
conclude that they have outstanding opportunities for long-term growth.
Many companies expect to see a recovery in the United States and the United
Kingdom, as well as greater stability in the Chinese economy. Despite the
optimistic outlook, cost discipline and capital efficiency continue to
receive high priority. Only a few companies expressed any scepticism with
regard to the short-term. Baader Bank expects to see its prognoses largely
confirmed during the forthcoming reporting season.
This year's Conference proved even more successful than last year's
inaugural event, attracting more than 700 participants from 25 countries.

The next Baader Investment Conference will be held between 23 and 25
September 2014 - once again in Munich.
