SZ Testsysteme AG in Amerang near Wasserburg has increased its sales forecast for the current 1999/2000 financial year (30.9) by almost 17 percent from DM 60 million to DM 70 million. This is equivalent to a sales increase of more than 55 percent in comparison with the 1998/99 financial year (DM 44.9 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are estimated at approximately 14 percent. The company gave the outstanding market position and the excellent level of new orders received in the fist quarter as the reason for the increased forecast figures; new orders rose from DM 7.5 million to DM 21 million and were 180 percent higher than in the previous year.
