V., spezialisiert auf die biotechnologische Produktion von Impfstoffen und Therapeutika, geht in die zweite Finanzierungsrunde. Ab dem heutigen Tag können interessierte Anleger Aktien der Rhein Biotech aus einer geplanten Kapitalerhöhung sowie aus einer Umplatzierung zeichnen. Das gesamte Emissionsvolumen beläuft sich auf voraussichtlich bis zu 69 Mio. Euro zuzüglich Greenshoe. Die Transaktion wird von den Joint Lead Managern ABN AMRO Rothschild und WestLB Panmure begleitet und setzt sich aus einer Kapitalerhöhung von bis zu 40 Mio. Euro und einer Umplatzierung von Aktien im Gegenwert von bis zu 29,1 Mio. Euro – maximal 225.592 Stück – zusammen. Darüber hinaus ist eine Mehrzuteilungsoption von rund 10% des Emissionsvolumens vorgesehen. Der Emissionserlös dient hauptsächlich zur Refinanzierung der Zwischenfinanzieriung der abgeschlossenen Akquisition von 80% der Anteile an GCVC, wodurch Rhein Biotech zum weltweit drittgrößten Hepatitis-B-Impfstoffhersteller avancierte. Weiterhin wird Rhein Biotech in die Entwicklung neuer Produkte, wie therapeutische Impfstoffe gegen Hepatitis B und C, Kombinationsimpfstoffe und Vakzine gegen lebensbedrohliche Diarrhöe investieren. From today investors can subscribe to Rhein Biotech shares coming from a planned capital increase and placement of shares from existing shareholders. The total issue volume will be approx. 69 million Euro plus Greenshoe. The transaction, co-ordinated by joint lead managers ABN AMRO Rothschild and WestLB Panmure, consists of a capital increase of up to 40 million Euro and placement of shares from existing shareholders with a current value of approx. 29,1 million Euro – maximum 225.592 shares. A Greenshoe option of approx. 10% of the issue volume is also planned. The proceeds of the issue will be mainly used to re-finance the acquisition of 80% of the shares of Green Cross vaccine Corporation, which has positioned Rhein Biotech as the world’s third largest producer of hepatitis B vaccine. Rhein Biotech will also continue to invest in the development of new products such as therapeutic vaccines against Hepatitis B and C, combination vaccines and vaccines against life threatening diarrhoea.
