DM / EBITDA bereits positiv Erfolgreiches Auftaktsquartal Im traditionell schwachen Auftaktquartal (Stichtag 31.03.) hat die am Neuen Markt notierte GfN AG ihre Planziele voll erreicht und konnte die Gesamtleistung mit 17,6 Mio. DM nahezu vervierfachen (Vorjahr: 4,5 Mio. DM). Dabei steigerte sich der EBITDA, das Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen, auf ein Plus von 608 TDM deutlich gegenüber dem Vergleichswert des Vorjahres (minus 106 TDM). Das Ergebnis der gewöhnlichen Geschäftstätigkeit lag, einschließlich der Goodwill-Abschreibungen (887 TDM), mit minus 1,0 Mio. DM im Plan. GfN beschäftigte zum Stichtag 222 Mitarbeiter und 14 Auszubildende. GfN AG takes a sales leap to 17.6 million DM / positive EBITDA results Successful Starting quarter In the traditionally slow first quarter (ending March 31), the GfN AG met its planned targets in full and was able to almost quadruple overall performance, to 17.6 million DM compared with 4.5 million DM last year. The firm, whose shares are traded on Germany’s New Market, clearly improved the EBITDA figure (profits before taxes, interest and depreciation) from a negative DM 106,000 in the same quarter last year to a positive DM 608,000 this year. The returns from ordinary business activities show a loss of 1.0 million DM due to major write-downs on goodwill (DM 887,000), but are nonetheless entirely within the planning framework.
