Januar 2001. Die ac@demy, Stuttgart, zur GfN Gruppe gehörender Spezialist für E-Learning und VIAG Interkom, München, haben eine Kooperation vereinbart. Danach ist die ac@demy auf dem neuen Internet-Portal “e-nfrastruktur” des Telekommunikationsunternehmens als exklusiver Partner in Sachen IT-Schulungen vertreten. VIAG Interkom bietet sein neu entwickeltes Portal 375.000 kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen als Internet-Plattform an, die sich diese individuell gestalten können. Partner aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen stehen dabei als sogenannte “Content-Anbieter” zur Verfügung, um das Portal mit Inhalten zu füllen. Mit ihrem seit dem 30. November 2000 deutlich ausgebauten Angebot (www.ac@demy.de) kann die ac@demy diese Zielgruppe optimal bedienen. Unter den über 300 möglichen Kursen befinden sich beispielsweise zahlreiche Anwender-Trainings, wie Microsoft Office, Linux, Cisco oder SAP. ac@demy erwartet aus der Kooperation einen Umsatz von mindestens fünf Millionen DM in den nächsten drei Jahren. Der Vorstand der ac@demy sieht in der Kooperation eine große Chance das eigene Angebot einem breiten und sehr interessanten Klientel vorzustellen und von den Vorzügen des E-Learning zu überzeugen. Der Markt für E-Learning ist insbesondere in den USA in den letzten Jahren enorm gewachsen – unabhängige Studien prognostizieren dies auch für Deutschland und Europa. In future, ac@demy will feature on the telecom enterprise’s fledgling Internet portal “e-nfrastruktur” as its exclusive partner for all aspects of IT training. VIAG Interkom will be offering its brand new portal to 375,000 small and medium-sized businesses as a custom-designable Internet platform. Partners from numerous branches of industry have confirmed their intention to act as so-called “content providers”, whose job will be to fill the portal with contents. With its significantly broader offering (www.ac@demy.de) since November 30th, 2000 ac@demy is ideally equipped to serve this target group. The 300 courses on offer include numerous user seminars, for instance, e.g. Microsoft Office, Linux, Cisco or SAP. ac@demy anticipates that sales of at least five million deutschmarks will be generated by this cooperation during the next three years. ac@demy’s Board of Management views the cooperation as an excellent opportunity to present its products and services to a broad, extremely interested clientele and to convince them of the benefits of e-Learning. Particularly in the USA, the past few years have seen the e-Learning market grow at a breathtaking pace – and independent observers are predicting the same to happen in Germany and the rest of Europe.
