– Sparkassen Informatik licenses Beta Systems’ products for Data Center,
Document/Output and Storage Management for group-wide usage
– Accountable revenue volume of approximately Euro 1.8 million in first quarter
2002
– Extensive maintenance and service agreement until 2006
Berlin, April 19, 2002 – Beta Systems Software AG (Neuer Markt: BSS), a leading
provider of high performance intelligent data management solutions, today
announced the win of a big order from Sparkassen Informatik GmbH & Co. KG,
Frankfurt. Beta Systems was chosen as the strategic vendor of software solutions
for systems management at all production sites of Sparkassen Informatik. The
license agreement covers the usage of core products of the data center,
document/output and storage management product lines. The revenues accruing from
the deal total approximately Euro 1.8 million in the first quarter of 2002. In
addition, a service agreement for the next 4 years has been closed.
