Purchase of shares

Ricardo PLC (the "Company") announces that on 5 June 2018 it received notification of the following transactions by Dave Shemmans, Chief Executive Officer, and his spouse Jodie Shemmans which were carried out on 5 June 2018:

·      Dave Shemmans transferred a total of 10,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") to his spouse, Jodie Shemmans, for nil consideration;

·      Dave Shemmans sold 1,500 Shares at a price of £10.3361 per Share; and

·      Jodie Shemmans sold 1,500 Shares at a price of £10.3361 per Share.

Following the above transactions, the total beneficial holding of Shares of Dave Shemmans is 101,085 Shares, representing approximately 0.189% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

The following notification is intended to satisfy the Company's obligations under Article 19(3) of EU Regulation No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation).
