Order backlog: EUR 20,445 thousand (previous year: EUR 18,897 thousand, +8.2 %)

Hanover, 20 July 2017 – The Executive Board of Viscom AG (ISIN DE0007846867) raises its revenue and earnings forecast for the 2017 financial year on the basis of its preliminary half-year figures.

The preliminary incoming orders, revenue, order backlog and operating profit (EBIT) figures for the first half of 2017 rose again in the second quarter following what had already been a strong first quarter. Incoming orders rose by 10.4 %, from EUR 38,290 thousand in the first half of 2016 to EUR 42,270 thousand. The order backlog also increased, amounting to EUR 20,445 thousand at the end of the quarter, up 8.2 % year on year (previous year: EUR 18,897 thousand).

In the first half of 2017, Viscom AG generated revenue of EUR 39.895 thousand, corresponding to a 27.8 % year-on-year increase (previous year: EUR 31,209 thousand). At EUR 5,701 thousand, preliminary operating profit (EBIT) is up on the corresponding figure in 2016 (previous year: EUR 2,001 thousand). Accordingly, the EBIT-Margin stood at 14.3 % (previous year: 6.4 %).

In light of these developments, the Executive Board of Viscom AG today raised its forecast for the 2017 financial year. The Executive Board now expects revenue of between EUR 87 million and EUR 92 million (previously: EUR 80 million to EUR 85 million) and an EBIT-Margin of between 14 % and 16 % (previously: 13 % to 15 %).

The Group’s finalised key figures will be published along with the full interim report on 9 August 2017.
