Therefore, the transaction may no longer be expected to be closed in the short term. However, both Vossloh and Pfleiderer believe that the Federal Cartel Authority’s objections or doubts may still be dispelled by making certain commitments, details of this approach being currently examined. Nonetheless, Pfleiderer communicated this afternoon that it would additionally search for alternative disposal options after January 1, 2006.
