-Dr. Günter Blaschke appointed as new Chairman of Supervisory Board
-Ulrich Bellgardt appointed as further member of Supervisory Board
-Dividend of in total EUR 0.64 resolved

Augsburg, June 4, 2014 – Today, the Annual General Meeting of WashTec AG elected Dr. Günter Blaschke and Ulrich Bellgardt to the Supervisory Board with a vast majority. Dr. Blaschke, who took over the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board, was CEO of Rational AG from 1999 to 2013. Mr. Bellgardt is Managing Partner of the consulting company ubc GmbH.

All other resolutions proposed by the management to the Annual General Meeting were adopted by a very large majority too. Among others, the payment of a dividend for the financial year 2013 of EUR 0.32 per share and a special dividend in the same amount has been resolved. Background for the special dividend is WashTec’s low EBITDA-gearing ratio and the solid equity financing.

During the Annual General Meeting, the Management Board has reported extensively about the current market situation, the business and the strategy and discussed with shareholders.
