Genus plc (LSE: GNS) announces that, further to the vesting of contingent rights over ordinary shares in Genus on 5 January 2019 under an individual restricted stock award agreement, Dr. Nate Zwald, a member of the Genus Executive Leadership Team, sold ordinary shares in Genus on 1 March 2019, on the London Stock Exchange to offset income tax and social security liabilities due on the exercise, and retained the balance of ordinary shares.

The below notification made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, gives further detail of the number of contingent rights exercised and ordinary shares sold.
