Senator not subject to any investigation
Senator Entertainment AG, Berlin, in response to statements published today by
the business information service Prior Börse, declares that there are no
investigations by the state attorney’s office against Senator Entertainment AG.
Even in the case of an anonymous complaint the Berlin state attorney is required
to make an examining. The conjectures and accusations made by the Prior Börse
in this connection pertain solely to events which this newsletter had already
published in April and to which Senator gave detailed response in its statement
of 17 April 2002 (www.senator.de/AG/IR/News).
“This is a deliberate campaign contrary to better knowledge since the financial
director, Dr. Ingo Stein and I elaborated and explained all relevant subjects in
a personal meeting with Mr. Prior in Frankfurt, on 23 April 2002,” said deputy
chairman of the board, Dr. Friedrich Carl Wachs. “This is obviously a crude game
by which a stock exchange information service losing subscribers is trying to
give its accusations renewed news value although they have been proved to be
baseless.”
