Senator adjusts plan to market situation Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Senator adjusts plan to market situation Senator Entertainment AG has adjusted its plan to the currently difficult market conditions prevailing in the film and media industry. Now only half of the planned revenues and a very positive EBITDA but, no balanced result are expected for 2002. Senator’s broad line-up, including every stage of the value creation chain in film production and exploitation has ensured that revenues still continue to increase despite the difficult media crises. Nonetheless, the desired sales and results cannot be delivered this year because of temporal delimitations in the results from current projects. This year international film production will not have the revenue relevance expected although sales for the projects postponed until 2003 at the Milan MIFED film fair, just ended, were more than satisfactory. Box office receipts for films opened did not meet expectations since there was an overall decline in the number of moviegoers compared to last year. The growth measures introduced remain unaffected by the change in plan–world sales are still expected to generate 80% of future revenues. The outlook for 2003 and 2004 continues to be positive.
