Remarks:
(1) The turnover and profit from operations of HK$209.9 million and
HK$100.6 million for the half-year period ended 30th June, 2004
respectively and HK$115.5 million and HK$19.3 million for the last
corresponding period respectively were all generated from continuing
operations.
(2) The calculation of earnings per share is based on the profit for
the period of HK$133.6 million (2003: HK$58.0 million) and on 315.0
million (2003: 315.0 million) ordinary shares in issue during the period.
For the period under review and the preceding comparative period, there is
no difference between the basic and diluted earnings per share.
