PAC CHALLENGE<0166> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Pacific Challenge Holdings Limited (the "Company"), 
trading in its shares will be suspended with effect from 10:00 a.m.
today (2/5/2001) pending an announcement of the result of the hearing of 
the Petition, referred to in the Company's announcement of 13 March 2001, 
at The Supreme Court of Bermuda.
