PAC CHALLENGE<00166> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of Pacific Challenge Holdings Limited (the "Company"), 
trading in its shares will be suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today 
(17/4/2002) pending an announcement regarding further development relating 
to a possible voluntary conditional cash offer by an independent third 
party for the entire issued share capital of the Company.
